The best source  for companies is to look for search engines and or
yellow pages.
There are quite a few yellow pages in India
like 
http://www.indiamart.com
http://www.indiayellowpages.com

OR
go to the business pages of search engines like
http://www.samilan.com has a business page at
http://www.samilan.com/framesbu.html
or
http://www.khoj.com has a list of business pages at
http://www.khoj.com/business/companies/index.html

The Indian Corporate Gateway page is a great resource of info again.

including daily stock quotes. We also have a resource called the Business
