Dear Abhishek, You could start with Ernakulam Jn. from there you can go to Cochin (now Kochi ) where there is a ferry service to go to different scenic islands. Allepey has houseboat services to go around. Tekkady is a famous place where there is a wild animal sanctuary. Kanyakumari and Kovalam are two other well known famous places. purniah ----------------------------------------------------------------- Dr. B. Places to visit in Kerala. Kumarakam is a nice place to visit and there are two good hotels. One is owned by Taj group where you can hire a boat house with air-conditioned rooms etc. Also have free boat services for gusts. Both are in Islands of the backwaters of Kerala. If one can't afford to stay there you can visit the Islands and hire boats privately and stay in Kottayam town (10 KM from Kumarakam) at cheaper hotels. Cochin to Kumarakam is 80 KM and from there you can go to Thekkady- Wild life Sanctuary. Munnar (tea gardens) also is a nice place to visit. Please visit the http//www.Kerala.com or http//www.keralatouirism.com for more details. P.K.Joseph.
