Dear Mr Devendra Soni, This is the 1st time that I am posting to the list, so dont be surprised at the late reply :-) I have a solution for you - CABLE MODEMS. Yes, I have seen a demonstration of it here in Calcutta and it was impressive - Mcafee's 1.3 MB DAT file (antivirus update) in 2 mins flat! Yes, I have seen a demonstration of it here in Calcutta >and it was impressive Cable modems are good, but it has one problem that (If I am correct; please correct me if I am wrong, thanks) once the number of subscribers start increasing, the speed would decrease, but then it is a long time to go and by then, you would get advanced connection. By the way, it is going to be more expensive too and for most of the common subscribers, is the price worth? Muthu

Hi People, Is this correct that I have heard that cable modem connections are offered for unlimited access for just rs. 1000 per month rent + a service rental. Don't they charge for usage.
