Can sure understand you being homesick after all you're miles away from home - but always remember HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS :-) Incidentally I also noted that you were looking for information on tourists spots in India. Well, check out Allindia Guide at http://www.allindiaguide.com. The site is a comprehensive tour guide of India with loads of information on the bustling metros, quiet gettaways, historical monuments & cities, Wildlife Sanctuaries. If I'm not mistaken there is also a Tour Operator section where you can contact travel agents to arrange your trips. Visit this site - I'm from India myself but did not that such beautiful places existed in India - a sufer's paradise. Shane

Here are some info on a very interesting and quiet tourist spot Sanjay New Delhi DALHOUSIE DALHOUSIE is a quiet town with a sense of enchantment. It commands an imposing view, flanked as it is by mighty ranges to one side and the gentle valley of CHAMBA on the other. The climate is salubrious, and the setting just right for long walks or quiet getaways in the forests. Picturesque English cottages dot the town, imbuing it with an air of Nostalgia akin to SHIMLA. More recently, the Tibetans, fleeing from chinese occupation, have added their colourful presence to many charms in Dalhousie. PANCHPULLA : 2 kms from Gandhi Chowk, the five bridges memorial was built in memory of AJIT SINGH, one of the Indian freedom fighters. A natural tank and streams give the spot a fitting serenity. KALATOPE : 8.5 kms, it is an ideal weekend retreat. With a panoramic view, an enchanting palace, and a forest rest house, it makes for a pleasant gateways. KHAJIAR :- 27 kms, the beautiful location of KHAJIAR is one of the favorite retreats for visitors. The saucer shaped meadow, ringed by pines, has a lake set in the middle, complete with a floating island. DAINKUND :- 10 kms, outside the town, on a clear day, the peak of DAINKUND offers a splendid view of the hills, with the rivers Ravi, Beas and Chenab threading through the distance. Other places of interest are :- SUBASH BAOLI, JANDHRI GHAT, BAKROTA HILLS and the round, SAPTDHARA. AREA :- Gandhi Chowk and Subhash Chowk.
