Managing coalitions

Coalition governments should be treated different from single party governments. One of their main characteristics is that they are prone to infighting and collapse from within. Well, even a single party government is susceptible, but the coalition is more so. Hence, in order to prevent the collapse of a large government from single personalities, or parties which do not have a large stake in the government; a trust vote should be called for, *only* if there is dissent and withdrawal of support from more than one-thirds of the members. Otherwise, once the government is formed and is in office, it should continue to be in office until the end of its term. What do you think?
