Dialing TOLL FREE US

Hi Everybody, I's like to know how one dials toll free to a number in the US? The number I have is TOLL FREE INTERNATIONAL i.e. callers from outside the US & Canada can call on these numbers. Question is - What number should precede the toll free number (which is 1-888-4xxxxx)? Is it the standard ISD code 001 (for US) or something else? Thanks in advance... Mohit Mahajan, Agra.

You should dial 001-888-xxx-xxxx.

The number (you are trying to call) needs to be registered with VSNL else the call won't go thru. Manjeet S Bhatia.

Hmm, as far as I understand, toll free is not applicable for countries except US and Canada. Pranav My geometry teacher was sometimes acute, and sometimes obtuse, but always, he was right.
