Hike in Mobile prices !! Retaliation....

Dear Innmates, As most of you mobile owners must have found out, the mobile rentals have gone up from Rs 156 to Rs 600 which is as per TRAI guidelines ( Claimed by the Mobile Operators). Surprisingly I do recollect the guidelines also mentions the incoming calls will be free. Now that from 1st MAY MO's are collecting the higher rentals but we are being billed for incoming airtime too!!. Further the earlier billing used to be per second which now will be for minimum 20 seconds!!! Can anybody suggest how we can get some justice in this case? Can we file Public Interest Litigation against this? Do we have any Mobile Users Association to address these grievances . If not lets get together and form one. Knowledgeable people are requested to come forward. I have been noticing a lot of grievances on this list regarding mobile billings and rates from you fellow inmates but this time lets do something. I would request you users at least to forward this mail to the mobile user friends you know ( Without spamming please ) so that we can work out some solutions and also reach beyond only this list. By just forwarding and spreading the message may also help. Expecting your cooperation and help Regards Avinash Velhal
