Hi All, I recently used my chennai vsnl shell ac. This is the welcome msg I got. ======================================================================= ALL THE SHELL ACCOUNT ARE TCPIP ACCOUNT NOW Please use the tcip access, more info on http://chn.vsnl.net.in ======================================================================= Pressto continue ... Does this mean I will have to payup for TCP when I wnat to renew my shell ac? The VSNL tarriff card says there is no shell account for genral categhory. Is this move economical on our pockets? For NRI they have a special acc. K) Short Duration NRI Account 1. 100 Hrs of Shell Account for Rs 4000/- Or US $100 . Why fleece them alone? Do they get any special services like IMAP or multiple mail ids? fully functional shell access? online payment? VSNL....
