Hi IINmates,
Why not use telnet ? All that is needed is an account with
a local provider who allows telnetting, you can telnet directly
to vsnl and check your account , e-mail etc... One disadvantage,
however, is the need of a local account, ie through a 'cybercafe'
or a friend.

National roaming is available within vsnl nodes in the country.
