Naadis (Predictive Palm Leaf Readings of India)

I'm an Australian who has spent a number of years in India serving in academic and social service areas. I'm slowly exploring the topic of naadis, the predictive readings on palmyra (or palm) leaves purportedly authored by great ancient sages - such as Brighu, Shuka, Shukra, Agasthya, Kousika, Koumara, Kakbhusandi, Bhoga, Pullipani, Vashista, Vishwamitra, etc. Even the slightest bits of information help me to "jigsaw" a larger picture together. I want to make contact with anyone who knows any shred of information about these leaves - addresses of naadi jyothishas (readers), and experiences - convincing or otherwise - of any one who has ever consulted these leaves. I have once consulted a person in Coimbatore who is claiming that he is having "shukhar" nadi jothidam- palm leaves. There are many such centeres all over Tamilnadu which specialise in nadi jothidam. The main place for this is a place called "Vaitheeswaran koil" near Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu. I can say my experience as amazing, they just take right hand thumb impression and bring a bunch of palm leaves. After that they start reading from the leaves and ask questions, one has to say just yes or no. The questions are general like about your name, age, begining letter of your name in tamil, realtives etc. These questions are asked to locate the leaf containing your predictions. Once you say no to a question they jump to the next leaf and keep asking questions related to what is wriiten on the leaf. This is done till you are convinced that the details being read are completely yours.Remember you are just saying yes or no for all the questions asked. The leaves mainly contain general description about you like your name, age, place of birth, date of birth, name of your parents, about your brothers and sisters and even the planetary positions at the time of your birth. The purpose for which you have come to see the leaves. They say it is written that on so and so date the person will come to see and know about his previous life and problems he faces in his present life,. that is why this is called "Nadi Jothidam" where 'Nadi' means seek and come in Tamil. They are not able to locate the leaves for all people. If they do not find the leaves containing your details they do not charge fees for that. If anybody else has any experience or opinion in this regard I would also like to hear from them. Thanks D Ramkumar
