Pension office - help anyone?

Dear list members Can someone tell me who is the senior most officer in the Government of India in charge of pension affairs? I'd like to write to him. I'd be very grateful if someone could give me a name and an address. An email address would be wonderful, but a snail mail address would also do just fine. There is Pension Commissioner located at Sardar Patel Bhawan , Sansad Marg, New Delhi 110001, A letter about greivence is good enough.

Dear Rajiv, I had passed through the same experience. The routine procedure is you should inquire with the senior officer in the office from where he retired.They prepare a pension report, find out where it is sent. Also your fathers friends with the similar Qualifications and preferably retired in the same year do help....for proper channels. -----Avinash.

Thanks, Avinash, but this doesn't solve my problem. My dad was a senior IAS officer who was at some time or the other, attatched to almost every department. After he passed on in 1997 we've managed to get his pension coming to my mom, but there was supposed to be an upward revision which seems to be taking years to reflect in his pension. I am told that the papers are sitting at Tees Hazari in Delhi, but as I am in Ahmedabad, I'm trying to find out who to write to. A name and address would help. Of someone high up enough to be able to do something. Thanks for your advise anyway. I apperciate it, but this is what I need. My warmest, Rajiv
