Can someone recommend a good laptop comp?

Hi A friend of mine, a market research consultant, is planning to buy a laptop. The applications would be: a) Presentations, word processing, spreadsheets on MS Office b) Some basic multimedia (again, for presentations, maybe some games) c) Connecting to the Net with a mobile phone I guess the typical specs for these apps would be P-II 300-400MHz/AMD K6-3, 64MB RAM, 2-3 GB HDD. Can anyone recoomend a good model for about 1-1.2 lacs? And if you can suggest a cheaper option that cat cut all the above apps, great :) Pls add dealer contact info if you have it. TIA Yogesh
